Go back in time to rural Newfoundland and get to know our Eliza.
Following her mother’s death, 14 year old Eliza is pulled from school to look after her unruly siblings. Eliza must manage the household and a father struggling through the cod moratorium, all while finding love of her own. Our Eliza honours the sacrifices rural Newfoundland women made for their families.
Written by Northern Peninsula award winning writer Megan Gail Coles, Our Eliza has played to hundreds of audiences across Atlantic Canada and is coming home to the west coast of Newfoundland this summer.
